Soda’s are a thing of the past, my friends! I’m pretty sure coffee is on its way out as well (goodbye Starbucks, hello my cash in my pocket). Tea will continue to be a thing, however. I love my tea. It will just be less sweet from here on out. My boyfriend has been amazing during all this and is actually doing it with me. He’s actually going to join me in all my goals this year. I love the support. My friends are all super supportive and are sticking to their healthy goals as well!
I’ve also been playing catch up on season 2 of Once Upon a Time. OMGoodness…all the feels.
The switch to water
It’s 3 days into the new year and so far my goal for January is going pretty well, which is to get myself off sugary drinks. I’ve been good to limit it to 2 a day. That’s really good considering they’re all I used to drink. What I’ve noticed: I feel better, I’m tired (which I think is just the withdrawal), and I’m freaking hungry. Haha really hungry! I am drinking way more water now. I just replaced most of the soda and coffee with water.

Today is much better than yesterday. I’m a little fuzzy headed, but that could be my sinuses. I’ve mainly had water today. My only cup of tea was with my breakfast. I’m getting together with friends soon and coffee is usually involved, so I’ve been saving up for that.
In other news, it’s very difficult to not kick the lady scrubbing the bottom of my feet. I think she’s hitting the tickle spots on purpose.
